General Rules for Participation
Drop your floating device at the drop off area across from Branch Brook Campground on Rt. 49 in Campton. Drive to the Cow to leave your vehicle. The shuttle will take you back to the drop in location so at the end of the ride your car will be available. DO NOT PARK ON RT 49 OR AT THE DROP IN LOCATION IT BECOMES TOO CROWDED FOR DROP OFFS. The shuttle will begin to run at 10 and the last ride will leave the Cow at 11:15 sharp! The cost of the Regatta is a $20 CASH donation (no credit cards), and includes a BBQ back at the Country Cow. This event has grown so large it is very difficult to keep up with the BBQ, Also, the Campton Dunkin Donuts is on board this year and thanks to Dave Bates, will be donating coffee and donuts at registration to fill your tummies until you make it back to the Cow. When registering you will enter 2 charities of your choice that will be picked at the end of the ride. We launch around 11:30 and depending on the river conditions it takes about 3-4 hours to reach The Cow. This is a rain or shine event!! Use whatever you would like to get down the river...tubes, floats, canoes, kayaks, etc. Or be one of the many that design their own floating device to be entered into the contest. You're gonna have to beat loud music and a blender!!! Please be prepared with suncreen, trash bags, cold beverages and a fun attitude. If you have never joined us before and have any questions you can contact Jennifer at The Cow at 536-1331 or email [email protected].
